I made an assertion that Black Christians, our ancestors, claimed the slave masters were reading the Bible incorrectly. That was the claim that we made. We claimed that them knuckleheads who was enslaving us were bad readers of the Bible, and that we, who saw God as the God of freedom, were better readers of the Bible.
