Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Jude 3 Project wants everyone to be able to ask, watch, read and learn here. That includes people who use a screen reader, people who move through a page with a keyboard instead of a mouse, and people who need larger text or stronger contrast.
This page says what we build to, what we check, where we still fall short, and how to tell us when something is in your way.
1. The standard we build to
We build the website and the installed app to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. It is the standard that courts and regulators in the United States point to when they ask whether a site works for people with disabilities.
2. What that looks like on this site
- Text meets the AA contrast ratio against the dark background on every page we measured.
- Every button, link and form field works from the keyboard, and the one that has focus shows a visible ring.
- A “Skip to content” link is the first thing the keyboard reaches on every page.
- Images carry a text alternative, and form fields carry a label a screen reader can read.
- Pop-ups and side panels keep keyboard focus inside them while they are open, close with the Escape key, and return focus to where it was.
- In the installed app, the tab bar and the Back button are labelled for screen readers, and focus moves to the new page’s heading when you move between pages.
- Pinch-to-zoom is never turned off, and animation follows your device’s “reduce motion” setting.
3. How we check
We run an automated accessibility test (axe-core, the same engine behind the common browser checkers) on every kind of page on the site, in a desktop browser and in the installed phone app, and we walk each one with the keyboard alone. The last full check was on October 13, 2026. We do not use an accessibility overlay or widget, because those change how a page looks without fixing how it works.
4. Where we still fall short
- Videos play in Vimeo’s and YouTube’s players. Their controls and captions are theirs, and not every video has captions yet.
- Some study guides and store downloads are PDF files, and a few older ones may not read well in a screen reader.
- Membership checkout and giving run on Stripe and GiveCloud, which are separate companies with their own pages.
We work on these as we can, and we update this page when something changes.
5. Tell us
If something on this site or in the app does not work for you, we want to know. Use the contact page or email info@jude3project.com. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what you use to browse (for example a screen reader or a keyboard). We answer within a few business days.
