Some people come to angels, demons and deliverance already hurt. They sat in rooms where every headache, low mood and family argument was blamed on a spirit, and they left more afraid than when they arrived. Others prayed for a body, a mind or a marriage, sometimes for years, and nothing changed. Both can end up in the same quiet place, unsure whether the unseen is real and unsure they can bear to think about it again.
Neither experience should be hurried past. Fear that was planted by careless teaching is not a lack of faith, and an unanswered prayer is not a puzzle to be solved with the right explanation by the end of a page. With that said plainly, an answer is possible. Scripture does describe angels, demons and a God who rules over both. Jude 3 teaches that the spiritual world is real and that Christ has authority over it, and it urges discernment so that medical and psychological needs are not mislabeled as demonic. The same Scripture never asks a frightened person to face the dark alone, and it never treats an unanswered prayer as proof that some power has won.
What follows is a slow course in four parts. You will name what happened to you without being rushed, read a few passages closely enough to see what they actually promise, learn to test the claims that frightened you, and think through how unanswered prayer can be carried with other people. Four voices from Jude 3 Project conversations go with you: a Navy chaplain who studies Revelation, a Toronto pastor, a therapist who leads a healing ministry, and a Ugandan biblical scholar and church planter. Nothing here requires you to tell your story, see anything, or have a dramatic experience. The aim is a view of the unseen you can hold calmly and in company, without fear and without pretending it is not there.
