Courageous Conversations is Jude 3 Project’s annual national gathering that pairs black voices trained in conservative and progressive spaces to discuss topics that are relevant for the church and culture.

Early Bird Registration: $65 (ends June 1st at 11:59pm)

Courageous Conversations pairs African American voices trained at conservative evangelical seminaries or divinity schools with African American voices trained at mainline seminaries or divinity schools to discuss controversial topics. 

We will have our first national Courageous Conversations event in Chicago, IL at the Historic Progressive Baptist Churchon Monday, September 3, 2018. We will have 24 scholars and pastors to discuss topics like justice, the authority of scripture, sexuality, and gospel preaching.

African Americans & Theology | St. Louis, Mo

The City Ministry Initiative of Covenant Theological Seminary and the Jude 3 Project will host a round table discussion exploring past, present and future approaches to theology by people of color. Orthodox African-American scholars of biblical and theological studies will lead a discussion on how black Christians can be faithful to the Bible as they carry out the task of theology in the church and academia today.

This event is free and open to all.
